23 April 2008 - Minnesota College Solidarity Weekend 2008 will be held THIS WEEKEND, April 25th through 27th!

Learn the fundamentals of swing dancing with classes, and then put your skills to work on the dance floor with evening dances! Classes and lessons offered include Lindy Hop, 40s Charleston, Fox Trot, Blues, Shim Sham, and Peabody. Techniques taught include Rhythm, Flow, Music Breaks, Dips and Tricks, and the 8-count break. 14 March 2008 - March 8th Blues Revival a Success!
Thank you to everyone who came to our March 8th Blues Revival! Solomon Douglas was an incredible teacher at this event, and we look forward to having him back for more events. Pictures were taken, and once we receive them, they'll be posted on our website under the Photos section of our website. Stay tuned for more events! We've got some incredible plans for upcoming dance workshops, so stay tuned!
11 February 2008 - March 8th Blues Revival!
Come celebrate the first days of Spring and bid farewell to the bitter cold of the Winter with an entire day devoted to the beauty of Blues Dancing. Join us for the workshops in the afternoon, taught by some fabulous instructors (including Solomon Douglas!), and then later on dance the night away to a live band! We have some rockin' new events including our workshop series Connections Across Dance Styles during the months of February and March, Swingin' Away Your Leap Day Blues Dance at the University of Minnesota on the 29th of February, and a special Solidarity After Hours Blues House Party on the 26th of April! Welcome to StreetLit Blues! We're proud to have our website finally
up and running. StreetLit Blues is a small studio specializing in workshop training, lessons, and group
performances. Technique, style, rhythm, and moves are emphasized in a small but fun studio atmosphere.
